Beloved Israel,
Before the world found its words,
you were already listening.
Before faith had many names,
there was covenant—
a people entrusted with His voice.
From your soil came the prophets.
Through your people came the Scriptures.
From your story, the path
the nations would one day walk.
Yeshua did not turn from you.
He came through you—
born of your line,
formed by your prayers,
faithful to your ways.
He walked your roads
and wept for your city.
Many forgot the root that bore them.
They loved the promise
and wounded the people.
Still, you endured.
Exiled and gathered,
broken and restored,
you stand as witness:
God keeps what He swears.
The covenant was not replaced.
It was widened.
The door was opened to the world
through you.
You are not forgotten.
You are not finished.
May the nations remember
where the story began
and return with humility,
with gratitude,
with love.
